A Blanket Drive for Homelessness in the Twin Cities

Homelessness is rising in the Twin Cities.

As housing prices skyrocket, wages and jobs have declined as a result of the pandemic. The Center of Movement wants to work hand in hand with you by coming together to support our community where it needs it most!

We reached out to our local mental health support groups who shared that their #1 need is new blankets! Our goal as we continue through 2021 is to collaborate, connect and support, so please join us!

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

1) Make a cash donation & we will use to purchase blankets & basic needs.**

2) Bring a new blanket that you have from home or that you purchase on your own to a drop off at TCOM location on 3/20/2021 to donate.

This new design will be a 12x12in white print on a super soft & cozy charcoal-colored blanket.

(If you are unable to pick it up on this date, we will gladly set up another time with you.)

Choose location & your timeslot for pick-up. To keep everyone healthy, we are limiting the length of time & amount of people allowed in the space at one time. During your allotted time inside, masks are mandatory. Please reach out if you want to schedule contactless pick-up!
